Larkano Municipal Corporation Approves Key Development & Welfare Plans

A significant meeting of the Municipal Corporation Larkano was held in the Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Mayor Larkano, Advocate Anwar Ali Luhar.

During the session, council members highly appreciated the tireless efforts and dedicated services of Mayor Larkano during the recent monsoon rains and acknowledged his continued commitment to the city’s progress and welfare.

The council members presented over ten key proposals, which included the revival of the Municipal Stadium, anti-mosquito spray campaigns across the city, elimination of illegal encroachments, desilting of drainage channels, and execution of development schemes in various union councils including Shaikh Zaid Colony and other areas of the city.

The participants welcomed the recognition of the State of Palestine by several countries, terming it a positive and commendable diplomatic step, and strongly condemned Israeli aggression. Furthermore, the house denounced the recent statement by the Chief Minister of Punjab regarding canals, calling it irresponsible and divisive.

All proposals presented in the meeting were unanimously approved by the members.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor Muhammad Ameen Shaikh and council members Munir Ahmed Soomro, Sher Muhammad Laghari, Muhammad Ibrahim Khoso, Shahzaib Khan Abro, Naeem Ahmed Tunio, Abdul Hafeez Samtio, Zeenat Bhutto, Kamalan Buriro, Amna Jamali, Simran Khan, Nusrat Pathan, Sajid Domki, Babar Abro, Ghulam Nabi Bhutto, Saeed Soomro, Muhammad Qasim Baloch, Kashif Umrani, Atta Muhammad Memon, and Owais Ahmed Abbasi.

Municipal Commissioner Dr. Javed Anwar Abbasi, Admin Officer Sabir Ali Abbasi, Miyandad Lolai, Abdul Wahab Chacho, Jamil Ahmed Hulio, and other municipal officers were also present in the meeting.
